A High Impact Life and Business

Most people look at investments as only economical, but Pete Ochs’ company Capital III focuses on the economic, social, and spiritual aspects. Pete’s holistic view of investment impact has led to some fantastic innovations for several of his other companies. Pete’s story should inspire us to ask God how He wants us to innovate for economic, social, and spiritual flourishing!

During a lawsuit, Pete read Proverbs 6, and God pierced his heart to humble himself before the opposition. When God used his obedience and the scripture to turn the situation around, Pete learned how applicable the Bible is in our daily work. Fast forward to today, where one of Pete’s companies is running a manufacturing plant in medium and high-security prisons and seeing lives restored through the three aspects we mentioned earlier. When an inmate receives fair wages, community, and biblical guidance, there is no limit to what God can do!

Pete recently released a book bundle called, A high impact LIFE, that he is offering to our listeners at a 10% discount with coupon code: IWORK4HIM

Stewarding Your Investments To Make A Positive Impact On Our Communities & The World Around Us

It’s the end of the year. Many of you are celebrating the end of 2020. I have the perfect way for you to close out your year. Evaluate your portfolio of investments and see how your investments are impacting the culture we live in.  Consider your trip to the local huge home improvement store. Both Major companies are building up your community and not tearing it down with investments and donations to organizations that want to tear us apart at the seams.  However, your desire for that vaccine might twist you a little because 2 out of 3 of the companies want to give you a shot but use the proceeds to promote organizations that desire an end to the biblical view of marriage and want to use aborted babies for experiments.  One major soft drink company scores great and the one that makes Mountain Dew – not so much. What am I talking about, the inspire Investing – Inspire Insights program that gives you a score for companies or funds that you invest in to see how they are either building up communities or tearing them apart. Here to clear it all up and to talk about Biblically Responsible investing, Luke Andrews with Inspire Advisors and iInvest4Him.com

Biblically Responsible Investing (BRI) scores investments for positive and negative reasons.  Today we will take a quick look at what makes a positive score for a stock:

b.     Product Integrity and Innovation

     i.     Policies and behaviors regarding executive compensation, ethical dealings, board management, etc.

d.     Human Capital

     i.     Policies and behaviors regarding equitable employee management.

e.      Social Impact

     i.     Impact and influence on society and communities in which the company operates.

f.       Supply Chain

    i.     Impact and influence on society and communities in which the company operates.

g.     Environment

Luke Andrews Podcast Image.png

Ever bought a lottery ticket?  You hope and pray and then the Powerball numbers fly by on the screen and you lose once again.  Where does that money go? How is it invested?  Is playing the lottery really the best way to build wealth?  Hopefully you just said no.  Investing in well run businesses is the best way to grow your money and get a good return. But how will they invest the dollars you give to them?  That’s what biblically responsible investing is all about.

At iWork4Him we believe that Biblically Responsible Investing is a huge win for the Kingdom of God and Luke Andrews is here to help us invest our dollars the best way, to honor God in the Process.

Checking Under The Hood
Luke Andrews Podcast Image.png

You wouldn’t buy a used lawn mower without making sure it works, you wouldn’t buy a home without a home inspection and you wouldn’t buy a used car without checking under the hood so why is it we invest in our 401k or 403b or an IRA without checking to see what it is invested in?  I have no idea but I do know that this can be a dangerous and slippery slope – it’s like eating sausage without knowing what was put in it, as long as it’s all ground up, it looks good but who knows what’s really in it. Could it kill you? Probably not if its cooked but it could make you sick. The same with your 401k or 403 b – what its invested in probably won’t kill you but it could make you sick. Talking with us today to clear up any confusion is Luke Andrews with iInvest4Him.com and Inspire Advisors. How we do our work is a direct reflection of our relationship with our Heavenly Father. How we invest HIS money should be that way as well.

Where You Put Your Money Makes A Difference
Luke Andrews Podcast Image.png

For too long and way too often, we, the church, have invested in companies that give to organizations that are completely against everything we stand for. These companies take their profits and fund non-profits who are actively trying to destroy Christianity. The voice of the everyday believer is in danger of being silenced forever and most of us are funding it through our investment dollars.

We’re speaking with Luke Andrews with Inspire Advisors and iInvest4Him.com about biblically responsible investing which is storming the nation as Christ followers move their money to great investments that aren’t funding the opposition plan of destruction for Christianity.
