Do YOU understand your Kingdom calling? Even if you do, take a listen. Dr. Amy Sherman wrote the definitive book on faith and work ‘Kingdom Calling’, and her book is a great place to start! She wants us Christ-followers to cause rejoicing in the city because of how God is using us.

SheWorks4HIm

A new feature with Martha is taking the reins today, as we chat with Kingdom-driven women about how they’re advancing the iWork4Him Mission in their respective workplaces! Today, along with National iWork4Him Brand Ambassador, Caroline Mendez, we talked with the CFO of Belay Solutions, Lisa Zeeveld.

This fantastic first-time feature focused on Christian working women, is what went on to inspire our sheWorks4Him podcast and the sheWorks4Him Field Manual, which guest Caroline Mendez contributed to (in Chapter 2).

This Workshop is for The Kingdom

And we’re here all week!  It’s the “Kingdom Leadership Workshop” in Lubbock, TX where we’ll be broadcasting LIVE. We kicked off the week with return guests, Rick and Holly Betenbough, to get their take on this amazing Workshop, and how God’s been moving them.

Rick Betenbough and his dad, Ron, started Betenbough Homes in the 1990s. From the beginning they were passionate about honoring God in their business through giving away money to ministries around the world out of their profits. It wasn’t until later, that God helped them to realize that they weren’t just called to give money to ministries, they were called to BE ministers to the people they worked with every day by genuinely loving them.

An Intro to the Barnabas Group

It was Day 3 of our expansion in Jacksonville (!!!) and today we brought in Becky Turner to talk about the Barnabas Group, which is focused on matching our God-given natural gifts, talents, and abilities – the ones we use all day long – with a local, Christ-centered non-profit in YOUR area of the country.

Becky is the National Managing Partner for the Barnabas Group – a place that matches up the skills, gifts, and talents of individuals and marketplace leaders with ministries and non-profits that need help. In other words, “they set the table and invite people in.” If you are interested in engaging your talents for the Kingdom – you won’t want to miss this one!
