Jesus wasn’t like me. He was busy but never in a hurry. He lived out a peaceful life.  I am busy and stretched and tired. Why?

We can endure all things here on earth because Jesus came, lived, died, and rose from the grave.  Christmas is a reminder of the hope that Jesus brings.  We have hope and it is spelled Jesus.

 It all started with a commitment to not listen to the radio in my car on my 80 minute commute to work.  I started praying over sins that really had a grip on me – like anger and bitterness, insensitivity and being judgmental, gluttony and greed.

We always thought that we would be one of those couples who made money and then generously gave it away to kingdom impactful missionaries.  As the show has grown the provision has too. All along the Lord has provided

What do you take with you in your little Chevy Equinox knowing that you may in fact have nothing left when you return?  It is all just stuff, we use the stuff but its stuff and it’s all replaceable.   

Spending time with someone is valuable – no matter what you are doing.  A trip gets us away from their normal, so we can engage them in intentional conversation.  You might even be able to help them appreciate their parents better... 

Younger adults really want to interact with people older than themselves. They want the wisdom you have to offer but they don’t know how to break away from their normal to interact with yours
