I believe when God laid a vision on my heart, then He has a plan for it. Adversity takes us from who we are to who He can use more effectively. Is our Heavenly Father asking you to do something out of the ordinary?

Many times over the last 20 years the Lord has asked us to give more than we were comfortable with, and found the more we generously gave, the less the money and possessions had a hold on us.Being generous literally changed our perspective on earthly things.

Workplaces are so easy to remain at a comfortable distance with people. Invite your coworkers and their families over for dinner. Develop genuine relationships over dinner with them and watch it transform your workplace.

About 10 years ago Martha decided that if we wanted to live in a loving neighborhood, we needed to be loving. I am challenging you to realize that the people in your neighborhood need to meet Jesus too.

I love the weather. I love watching the weather. I love the power of a good storm. Just as the right combination of water temperature and wind create a powerful hurricane, the right combination of obedience and Holy Spirit Power combine to devastate the enemy’s stronghold.

As I turn 52 and lean into my 53rd year, I pause to reflect on the incredible life I have lived and the impact that Jesus has had on me. My heart really started to radically transform when I gave the Lord the first hour of every day.

It is Good Friday because that was the day he paid the price for you and me.  Jesus is the truth for everyone. As Christ Followers in the workplace, we can share this truth.

God knows our motivations because he can read our hearts and minds.  Is He the Lord of your motivations too?  Look for the mighty hand of God in them, every day.

The People of Israel had seen God wipe out the Egyptian armies, they saw the Red Sea part, they ate manna and meat from God’s hand.  Yet, they doubted God could deliver the land that He had promised.  I find it easy to criticize the people of Israel and their lack of faith in God, yet right now I am doing exactly the same thing.

Love isn’t a usual first reaction when we are in a negative situation, which means we’ve got some work to do  Does Love drive you and motivate you to make a positive impact on your workplace, home, neighborhood, or church?
