iRetire4Him Show #79 - #2 of 3-Part Series: Moving Forward
#2 of 3-part series: We continue with our review of Bruce Bruinsma’s book Moving Forward – Putting Your Future Funded Ministry into Motion, which is the second book of his Future Funded Ministry Series.
Bruce, who is founder of the Retirement Reformation, wrote these books for YOU, the Christian retiree. This episode emphasizes the necessity to start planning even before your retirement. (So, this is a message you can share with your kids and grandkids!) But even if you’re late to planning, it’s never too late.
As we talk about how a ministry can be funded, tune in to explore our conversation on money personalities, priorities, and real-life examples of believers living out their own ministries in retirement. Keep listening so that you too can keep moving forward toward your future funded ministry!

iRetire4Him Show #78 - #1 of 3-Part Series: Moving Forward
#1 of 3-part series: The Retirement Reformation is founded on the main principle that your retirement years are the most significant years of your life. You take all the wisdom you have gleaned over the years and all the skills you have accumulated along with your retirement income, and you find yourself in a fully funded ministry model.
Your retirement years can be full of freedom and adventure, and Bruce Bruinsma has written many books to help guide you through the process of taking advantage of your retirement years.
One series of Bruce’s books is called The Future Funded Ministry Series:
· Book #1 is entitled Finding Freedom – reviewed in shows 11 through 14
· Book # 3 is Charting Your Course – discussed in shows 2 though 10
· And Book #4 is A Fruitful Retirement – covered in shows 59 through 62
Notice something missing?
Today we start a 3-part series on Book #2 in the series, entitled Moving Forward – Putting your Future Funded Ministry into Motion. You’ve covered the first steps. Don’t lose momentum – keep discovering what comes next in your future funded ministry!

#2 of 3-part series: Last episode in this series, we focused our discussion on understanding ageism. Today we will focus on how ageism impacts the world around us. So, why are we talking about ageism anyway?
As we talk about throughout this series, ageism has serious and wide-ranging consequences for people's health and well-being. And the Retirement Reformation, through the iRetire4Him Podcast, wants to give you biblical solutions to the issues that aging and ageism brings.

iRetire4Him Show #72 - #1 of 3-Part Series: Ageism and the Christ-Following Retiree
#1 of 3-part series: Today we begin a series on Ageism and the Christ-Following Retiree. Why?
We believe how we see ourselves is directly related to the messaging we absorb on a daily basis. If that messaging isn’t from a biblical worldview that honors and values the participation of retired folks, that messaging can be harmful.
Our 3-part series on Ageism and the Christ-Following Retiree will focus first on understanding ageism, then on how ageism impacts the world around us, and finally in our third podcast we will focus on how our faith can help us overcome this age discrimination.

iRetire4Him Show #71 - #3 of 3-part series: Questions You Need To Ask Before And During Retirement
#3 of 3-part series: As we have said so many times on the iRetire4Him Podcast, many retirees know what they are retiring from but few…very few …know what they are retiring to. How can you make sure you are prepared for what’s ahead?
Today we are going to focus on 8 questions we must answer in order to build in FLEXIBILITY into our plans as we head into retirement:
How will you handle your time?
How will you prioritize your activities?
How about leisure?
What is your plan and how will you organize your spiritual growth activities?
What is your plan and how will you organize your personal growth activities?
How will you stay in shape?
Where does family fit into your schedule?
Where will you find meaning and purpose?
These are certainly important questions to answer! Listen in as we end this series talking with Bruce Bruinsma, Retirement Reformation founder, about these more flexible – but still significant – areas of retirement.
