Turn Down The Volume
Sometimes the TV is so loud that I can’t hear my wife, Martha asking me a question. I have trouble talking in the car if the radio is on. It seems like I can only really listen to one thing at a time. There are so many voices fighting for my attention, how do I choose? There are Voices on TV, radio, podcasts, online and in person. How do you and I turn down those voices so we can hear the voice of Truth?
The good ole days!
Ah, the good old days. Where life was crazy busy and you had little time for family. Where you had time to worry about which sporting events to attend and who was driving to practice…Yeah…Those days…
What will you be remembered for?
In times of crisis will you be remembered for your panic or your peace. Your wise cracks or your wisdom. Your hoarding or your helping. Your isolation or your love. Your rebellion or your flexibility. Your pride or your kindness. Your greed or your generosity. Your false strength or your God.
Seek To Keep The Peace, Or BE Peace
For decades, people have been challenging the Biblical basis of America. Like Babylon the Great in Revelation chapter 18, we are likely to fall in one day because of our evil influence in the world.
What Is Being Stolen From You Right Now?
The enemy is on the prowl and he doesn't want you to experience what Jesus has to offer. What is the enemy stealing from you right now? When I experience fear and misery, I am reminded of what Jesus said and I ask for forgiveness.
