To Encourage and Equip Christian Working Women
Welcome to the sheWorks4Him Podcast - a place where we celebrate and validate the diverse experiences of today’s Christian Working Women by providing a digital gathering space that connects them to God, resources, and one another.
Started by co-hosts Catherine Gates, Nadya Dickson, and Martha Brangenberg, we invite you to go back through original interviews to glean from the wisdom our past guests have shared. Then look forward to hearing from more inspiring women in our new monthly episodes. Full of incredible stories, biblical encouragement, and real-life tips and tricks, sheWorks4Him will empower you to live out your calling at work, so the world knows, “Hey, sheWorks4Him!”
sW4H 6 | Viviana Russell: Trusting God's Plan for You
Sometimes God has bigger plans for us than we have for ourselves. Today we talk with a longtime friend of host Catherin Gates, Viviana Russell, a mom turned public official & the first African American woman to be elected to the North Hempstead town board. Tune in as we discuss what happens when God’s unexpected & unmistakable purpose comes calling, issues of race and gender in the public office, non-negotiables, & how to build up a community of support.
