City Wide Cleanup 4/16 & 17
School news: Transition Night on 3/26 saw 24 students and families Job Olympics at Branson HS was 3/26, and 7 students earned 1st or 2nd place in 10 events. Way to go, students, and thank you to the teacher team: Casey Young-Newberry, Dava Whitehead, and Ronda Rusher!
Middle School was awarded for being #1 in the state for growth in ELA.
Softball, track, and baseball are all busy with their seasons.
Prom was full of beautiful young men and women, having fun and enjoying themselves.
Non-profit news: The Manor reports several gospel groups coming to entertain and worship, as well as several outings for food and entertainment.

Events happening around town: The Lions Club dinner is tonight at Alice Irenes. MBC is on Thursday from 4-5 at Central Place City Alderman meeting Thursday at 6:30 at The Fire Hall City-wide clean up (depending on the weather) Thursday and Friday Alice Irene's Celebrates 20 years on Friday with $20 Ribeye Applefest Tea Party Saturday – at The Gathering Saturday night Concert at Mulberry Tree saloon. The band is Order of the Machine. Doors open at 8 pm, $5 cover.
