David knew that when it feels like God is far from us, the best remedy is remembering who God is and how He has worked on our behalf before. What are your mental photographs of God’s faithfulness? What are your memory stones? Do you have verses underlined in your bible, have you written down answered prayers, do you have a tattoo or a special trinket on a bookshelf to help you remember a way that God has provided for you?

What have you seen God do in your family, work, or neighborhood that you need to remember? Do you have a bulletin board of photos? At iWork4Him we want to recall a few MEMORY STONES and celebrate what God has done!

I love the feeling of change so much that I tend to crave the challenges it brings. Sometimes God asks us to stay the course and be patient with His plan that will eventually take us into new wonders. However, I find not changing hard.

The People of Israel had seen God wipe out the Egyptian armies, they saw the Red Sea part, they ate manna and meat from God’s hand.  Yet, they doubted God could deliver the land that He had promised.  I find it easy to criticize the people of Israel and their lack of faith in God, yet right now I am doing exactly the same thing.
