The most life-changing habit that has impacted Dee Ann's leadership is starting her day with at least a full hour of Bible reading, prayer, and exercise. Jene grew up in a loving Christian home, surrounded by many family members who served as pastors and missionaries. But from a young age, Jene knew that she would go on to share the gospel in a different kind of mission field – the healthcare sector. As a Clinical Nurse Manager of four departments in a faith-based hospital, Jene has a passion for empowering those under her leadership. Her personal mission statement is "To allow the light of Christ to shine through me as I care for frontline associates who then care for our patients."
